It has been so fun to combine painting and drawing with mixed medias to create art in a way I never have before. I think it is a wonderful thing to make new art and new wholes out of separate parts and pieces.
With collage, one of my favorite things is that the project always begins
with books. This has bled into my other work, eventually evolving into going to antique shops,
book stores, old paper stores, gathering images and visuals before painting. Books are now a
large part of all of my art, I have even started painting on them.
